Christmas Madness

Christmas is around the corner. The mad rush to make a killing (double entendre intended) has possessed many.

They somehow want to get, in weeks, what they did not in (eleven) months. This desire translates to:
• Increased hurry to get stuff done.
This is a key reason there are more accidents this season than at any other time of the year.
• Deploying everything that can earn money.
Regardless of its state (whether fit for purpose or not) this is the period where people put to use anything that has the remotest chance of improving their economic or social standing.
• Erosion of moral/ethical boundaries.
Willingness to do any and every thing that will produce the sought-after outcomes (without caring whose ox is gored in the process).

These will produce an increase in crime, insecurity and uncertainty.

To get through this yuletide in one piece:
~Do not get caught in the season madness
~Put up your security antenna
~Travel only if absolutely necessary
~Maintain a low profile

Stay secure!
