Here is a question for you:
"You are given an elephant which you cannot give away or sell. What would you do with it?"
There is no right answer to this.
It is to stimulate thinking. It is to make you consider other sides and angles.
There will always be a way out.
There will always be a solution.
The thing is that we do not always have them. Or that we do not have access to them.
What makes things bad, and causes people to choose wrongly is the notion that there is no other way. Once a person hits that point they will invariably make choices from a disadvantaged position. Disadvantaged? Yes. It is a place of powerlessness.
It is the reason folks get defeated. And depressed.
Recognize that what you see is not all there is. There are other sides and angles you may not see. Knowing they (may) exist takes away hopelessness. And sets you on a quest to find them.
