DEFINITIONS OF LOVE

Love is arguably the most overused, overrated and misunderstood word – and concept – in the whole known universe (and the unknown multiverse). Too many people have a vague, deluded and often unrealistic notion of what those (life-changing) four letters mean.

Even the folks who tout that God is love, seem to flounder on the morass of self as opposed to the more benign, persevering and altruistic dynamic that love is.

A group of professional people posed this question to a collection of 4 to 8 year-olds, "What does love mean?"
The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined.

Stand back and be amazed! And hopefully, when you get around to closing your slack jaw, you will take some of these nuggets and add them to your everyday living et relationships and watch you and everyone else benefit from this mix.

For, it is at that time that you are healing your world – and the world at large – making it a better place sans the prevalent I-rule and acrimony. After all, you only die once – but you can live every day by the contributions you make.

Apropos the subject matter; here are the responses the experts got from the unschooled:

"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore.
So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love."
