I was facilitating a class the other day and asked a question along the lines of, "Are you really in charge?"
Let's explore this thought a little further, you and I.
One of the things people spend their blood and energy, toiling to achieve is the attainment of freedom from controlling and limiting factors.
Put differently, everyone desires to be in charge. If not of other persons and things but at least of their own lives (and how they live it).
Many people chase this, through whatever means they elect. Once some hit the point where they have the freedom to choose (what to eat, drink, wear; where to live, visit; whom to hang out with) they think they are in charge.
But are you really in charge?!
Or are you driven by these tinmen?
• Your fears
• Your cravings
• Your acquisitions
• Your ego
If these dictate your course(s) of action and inaction, sorry, but they are actually in charge; not you.
So, the question is, are you in charge? Have you gained mastery over these tinmen. Or do you just think you are in charge?
Welcome to your future!
