Weakening The Wall

Good day.

Today is not a day for long discourse. You do not have those in evening services.

The one item on the agenda is a question: have you concluded that it is over, or are you still in the fight?

The fighter who throws in the towel is through, the one who comes out at the ding of the bell is still in the fight.

For every second longer you are in the fight, you get another opportunity to not only even the odds (and secure a draw, at least [in the worst case, lose by judges points]), you also purchase the possibility of a win.

What you need do is while you are in your corner, listen to the weaknesses (of the opponent your coach identifies) and work on those areas (of strength) that can deliver the winning punch.

So, check your strategy, adjust your tactics, fight another round... Even when you want nothing more than to just lay down, give it another try; every push weakens the foundation of the wall in your path.

It sure will fall.

Welcome to your future!
