Abuse or Purpose

"When purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable," is a statement credited to Myles Munroe.

Abuse is just another way of saying, abnormal use. The object is being put to use quite alright, but in an usual, not-according-to-design, way.

Whether it is substance, a spouse or self, lack of understanding of what a thing was made for, will result in it being put to use in a manner that may be a far cry from what ought to be.

Why were you born?
Why are you living/should you keep living?
Why do you work/want a job?
Why did you marry/want to get married?

Step back and imagine that you have to provide justifications for each of these. Would you be able to convince the umpire that you are qualified for any?

These are things that are seen as a given and many never take the time to articulate the reason behind doing them.

Take some time and process the why behind life, the things you do and the things you are chasing.

It will grant you a whole new vista on life. And help you decide what is important and how to handle it.
