You only need seconds.
A few seconds of getting distracted while driving and suddenly a world that was perfect goes to the dogs. Whether you hit or are hit or just have some kind of accident.
Most people believe in their ability to multitask. What they do not take cognizance of, is the fact that any activity that is added to driving, impairs concentration and driving.
• Making or receiving calls
• Texting
• Reaching for objects
• Looking at roadside object
• Eating/drinking
• Interacting with people or accessories
Or some other activity, has been shown by studies to impact upon brain functioning.
When one is distracted, the area of the brain that should be activated to safely operate a vehicle is not.
As a result, many an accident has occurred; resulting in injuries, PTD or even fatality.
When you drive, just drive.
Stay safe!
