The Pendulum of Time

As one who has known poverty and a measure of comfort, life and experience have taught me that the pendulum of having and having-not is ever in motion.

While it swings, it changes the tides of people's fortunes. As such negating any assurance that one will transit from one state to the other or retain a given one.

Yes, there are principles and practices that improve your odds of attaining or maintaining a preferred state. Yet, life and conditions are precariously fluid. And can upset the most carefully laid plans.

You see, whatever you current condition, be encouraged by time. Know that time makes it impossible for situations to be permanent.

Another encouragement is found in Solomon, one of Israel's most popular potentates', words: "I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all."

Thus, give your utmost everytime; do your best every opportunity. And pray that time will level things out for you and that auspicious chances will come your way.
