Being Well

 Your well-being as a person has both the mental and physical dimensions. What many do not realize is the degree of interplay and dependence between the two. Mental wellness promotes physical well-being. Physical soundness boosts mental health.


Having one without the other is no good. Waiting for when conditions are right to raise the bar on the one lagging is counter-productive.

The instant you realize that any aspect of your well-being needs betterment, is the time to decide on the strategy and tactics that will get you there.

Hoping is not a strategy; wishing is not a tactic. If you want to change the narrative, if you really, really desire the outcomes you claim to want, then you gotta get up and make it happen.

How your mind or your body feels about it at that material time should be less of a motivator. Be driven by the picture of the final outcome. And keep that picture in front of you every time you are tempted to chuck it.
