Let me start with a statement by Kristen Butler, "Accept what is, let go of what was, and make changes towards what will be. Life's about taking action." There are two things that really do not matter; what has passed (the past) and what lies ahead (the future). The fact is that you lack the ability to alter outcomes in any of these dimensions, especially the past. That is why it is a waste of your energy and emotions regretting yesterday or fretting over tomorrow.
There are two things that really do matter:
I. Focusing on today, and
II. Making needed changes
It is by doing those two that you are able to alter the course of your life and the elements in your future.
Truth is, today is the only thing you've got, and it is wisdom to make the most of it. Guard it jealously, make it count... You can forget the future, if you do today right. Why? Today is enough to deliver the rest of your life!
Concentrate on what is, not what was or what should, could or might be. What is, is what you've got: see it as raw material to produce what you desire. Give it your best shot and watch how that changes you and the things around you.
Seek improvement. In those areas where you are nowhere near ten over ten, implement adjustments.
More importantly, keep upping your game. It is the surest way to become sought after and guarantee a steady flow of boon into your coffers.
And then, each new day, repeat them result-yielding practices. And that may be all you'd ever need to do.
Welcome to your future!
