Working 2016

2% of 2016 is already spent!

How much are you on course in the pursuit of your goals and targets?

If an end is improperly defined any (rest) point along the route might just be good enough. Do not go through this year with an idea of where you want to be (by the time it wraps up). Do not face this year armed with just a mental plan. Write down your plans!

Thinking on paper...

* Crystallizes your thoughts

* Illuminates flaws in perception

* Provides you a reference point

* Gives a platform for realistic (and trackable) modifications

Note that unwritten goals are just dreams. And what you need are goals (that will help you achieve your big picture) as they contain action plans.

Quickly take out a pen and paper now and write these down:
1. Top 3 things you would have achieved by December 31, 2016. Focusing on 3 things is good—less may be boring and unchallenging; more than 3 may be distracting and unachievable.
2. Top 3 persons that can help you achieve each of your Top 3 Goals by December 31, 2016. Think of friends, family, bosses, subordinates, colleagues, customers...
3. What key enablers do you need to succeed? What are you giving up and what new behaviors are imperative?

Start NOW and position yourself to finish strong. Take hold of the year. See you at the top.
