The end of the year is around the corner. With the usual increase in crime, one thing that will be real helpful: carry out risk assessments.
In everything, and for everything, you do, conduct this exercise. Whether you are travelling, making purchases, employing changing houses etc
Ask these questions:
~What are the associated risks?
~What is the exposure?
~What can I do to eliminate the risks?
~What can reduce the risks (if they cannot be removed)?
~What resources are at my disposal? Are they adequate (to mitigate)?
~What more do I need in order to mitigate?
~Where are these additional resources at the moment?
~What do I do to put them at my disposal?
Basically, you are considering what can wrong and trying to proactively proffer solutions to them.
It is a thousand times better to have anticipated negative scenarios than to be thrown, without warning, into one.
Stay secure!
