Here is a not too serious handle on life, which conversely, seriously produces results:
§ Accept that some days you’re the pigeon and some days you’re the statue.
§ Always keep your words soft and sweet, just in case you have to eat them.
§ A truly happy person is the one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour.
§ Birthdays are good for you. The more you have, the longer you live.
§ Drive carefully. It’s only cars that can be recalled by their maker.
§ Never put both feet in your mouth at the same time, because then you won’t have a leg to stand on.
§ Nobody cares if you can’t dance well. Just get up and dance.
§ Since it’s the early worm that gets eaten by the bird, sleep late.
§ The second mouse gets the cheese – the first having been caught by the trap.
§ We can learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are dull, some are pretty and some have weird names. All have different colours but they all have to live in the same box.
§ When everything’s coming your way, you’re in the wrong lane.
§ You may only be one [other] person in the world to some people but to some person[s], you may be the world.
A truly happy person is the one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour- Nice. And I dare add, A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on the return journey.
ReplyDeleteBut... the early worm gets eaten, so sleep late Ke? Seriously?
You need to realize that this is meant to be a 'not too serious handle' on life. Some parts are deliberately so...
DeleteWhen everything’s coming your way, you’re in the wrong lane...Too True
