Writing Your Life Story

A few days ago, a dear friend and brother was laid to rest.

The same day, in my local assembly, a couple had a son.

Today, it is my pastor's birthday.

The connecting line between the first occurrence and the last one is the encomium poured on these gentlemen.

Yes, in Africa, dead people are forgiven their wrongs and painted in glowing colours. But this was not the case with the deceased. He was every inch a blessing to others. His short life impacted many positively.

I should know, I saw it firsthand.

The one who is year older today, is cast in the same mould. He is totally sold-out to leaving beautiful deposits in the lives of others.

The reason the story in the middle appeared is because that is the genesis.

Each one of us starts life with a clean slate (at birth). We decide what to write on it with our actions and inactions. The things people say about us (in life or death) are often not their fabrications. They are just reading what we have written with the way we live(d).

What are you writing?
What have you written?

Welcome to your future!
