I saw a video the other day of a lady walking into a phone shop and taking one of the phones on display.
I wished it was a dummy that got stolen but it was not.
Crimes occur when willingness (intent) meets opportunity. Like in the fire triangle, if one element were to be taken out, the probability of occurrence is pushed down.
Let us devote a little time to the matter of electronic eyes. Which is a way to deny a would-be-thief of opportunity.
When a person with (criminal) intent is left unattended and unmonitored, the chances of them acting out (fantasies or tendencies) goes up.
Since it is not humanly possible to be everywhere at the same time, having electronic eyes (watching goings-on) come in handy.
The idea is to deter or detect (crime in progress) and handle. Unlike the case mentioned (at the start) where the thief went away with the item.

1. Install electronic eyes (cameras and CCTVs)
There are various types that can meet your needs and budget. Talk to us.
2. Monitor real-time
If you cannot hire a staff to do this and do not have the time to DIY, link the feed to your phone and keep tabs.
3. Announce their presence
Put up signs and text that inform everyone that they are under surveillance (it just whips some people into line).
4. Keep them functional
There are aspects to the whole set-up that require care and maintenance, provide those for optimal functionality.
