Yesterday, a truck driver while trying to avoid running over a suburban vehicle, carrying a family, lost control. The truck ended up sticking its tyres in the air like a roach, while spilling petroleum product on the road.
Thankfully, there was no escalation in the form of fire or explosion.
The point is, this period the roads will be full from the influx of all sorts of vehicles and drivers.
The challenge with that is they either get involved in accidents themselves or they cause them.
To reduce the probability of such unpleasant stories coming nigh you:
~Put your vehicle in top condition
~Stay alert while using the road (drive for yourself and the persons ahead, behind and beside you)
~Practice safe driving
~Obey road codes and speed limits
Stay safe!
