Growth is a necessary trait of living things. Any entity (biological or legal) that is alive has to grow or it ends up dying or going into oblivion.
Growth comes from two sources: internal and external. When it is internal, it is the output of the interaction of organic or systemic processes. When it is external it stems from pressure or other pull-push conditions that mandate the entity in question to grow or atrophy.
In any case, not growing is often not an option (for any individual or organization that desires to be relevant). The reason is simple: what worked yesterday may not suffice for today.
Therefore, growth has to happen:
•to remain relevant and in business
•for income and profit purposes
•for advancement and expansion
How can you foster growth?
~Question the norms
~Unlearn, relearn
~Continually learn
~Innovate, create
~Adapt
Your life and organization should be upwardly mobile i.e. on the path of growth. Anything shirt of that supports irrelevance or extinction.
Welcome to your future!
