the beauty of not knowing

It is okay not to know!

I do not mean embracing ignorance. I do not subscribe to shutting yourself up and allowing knowledge that would change the course of your life pass you by.

What I do mean is that it is fine, and perfectly acceptable not to know everything there is to know about your destination or the means to get there.

Too many times, the perceived partial nature of one’s knowledge can become a blocker to the pursuit of a dream.

Every successful person will tell you they did not know it all when they started out. Their contemporaries who wanted to know everything first, ended up suffering analysis paralysis, or some other psychologically debilitating condition that stopped them from becoming.

It is okay not to know!

As a matter of fact, there is a certain beauty to it. It bestows a confident lack of inhibition that allows you to dare what you dreamed.

Not knowing, or not being sure should NEVER be an obstacle. Let it birth in you a hunger to know. And the product of that pursuit of knowledge plus corresponding action will stand you out.

So, rather than allow what you do not know to hold you back, that realization should propel you to learn speedily, on the job. Not before taking on the task, but, on the job.

Understand that, there are things you can only learn in the place of working the dream.

It is okay not to know! But, that should always, always, be a springboard to knowing and acting.

Welcome to your future!
